Sunny, Warm Greetings

Not much news from the farm these past two weeks. There have been warmer, sunnier days which have been really nice. The rough winds have started to ease up but it hasn't stopped the birds from singing their songs. The treetops are lush, full, and green again. Hay is continuing to be made when the weather permits.

The first couple hundred of broiler chickens are out on grass, but Barbie doesn't think they will get fat fast enough to replenish the supply. Until then, eat and enjoy the beef and pork! There is still a shortage of eggs, with a limit to two dozen per order

In the meantime, Barbie has been churning butter every week for quite some time now. Spring butter is available in the store again. It's the tastiest butter Barbie has tasted! Be sure to add some to your order this week!

Enjoy these two quick reads and stay tuned for next week's farm-a-cy news!

So Long Summer

September... The time of year when the nights begin to get cooler and the breezes lighter. Insects seem less pesky and the world a bit quieter. But work on the farm keeps going and it has been quite a blessing to have so much to do and provide for the Green Hills Farm loyal customers.

Brilliant Splendor of Days on the Farm

Love is in the air... and so is rain! Barbie shares with us the love and grace that the Lord has blessed upon the Esh's. The abundant rains over the past weeks have brought forth life, providing food and nourishment for the animals as they prepare for winter storage.
