A Happy Cows and Growing Chicks

The weather has improved much on the farm, with more sunny days which the cows really enjoy. It's not too hot nor too cold - just perfectly comfortable to be out on pasture and be content as can be. Imagine it. Feeling the warm sun on your skin along with a cool, soft breeze and listening to the quiet beautifulness of the world

around you. Oh to be a cow right now. Our country is going through a very trying time. Many are hurting and are in need of healing, love, compassion, support, and understanding. For just a moment, let us all take a moment to embrace the wonderful diversity of our community and the family that helped to bring us all together.

While the cows bask in the sun, the chickens are growing big and fat. Soon they will be ready for butchering and chicken will be available again in the store in a few weeks. Egg production has gone up, so each order can have 3 dozen eggs each. Chicken eggs aren't your thing? We've got duck eggs too! There is currently no limit on those so get in on those delicious nuggets of protein.

Please remember to return your empty cartons when picking up your orders each week. Due to the egg shortage and high demand, finding new cartons has been challenging. So, if you want eggs kindly return your empty cartons.

With summer around the corner, the sun has been a more frequent visitor. Barbie tells us to take some time to soak up the sunshine and count our blessings. She reminds us that life is a journey and that we should enjoy the ride it takes us on. The Esh's will continue to remain busy and blessed with more hay to bale over the next few days.

Let us remember that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, kindness, love, compassion, and acceptance for that is what Jesus did and has taught us.

So Long Summer

September... The time of year when the nights begin to get cooler and the breezes lighter. Insects seem less pesky and the world a bit quieter. But work on the farm keeps going and it has been quite a blessing to have so much to do and provide for the Green Hills Farm loyal customers.

Brilliant Splendor of Days on the Farm

Love is in the air... and so is rain! Barbie shares with us the love and grace that the Lord has blessed upon the Esh's. The abundant rains over the past weeks have brought forth life, providing food and nourishment for the animals as they prepare for winter storage.
