So many orders! And the Esh's are so grateful for them. The children were eager to start packing them on Thursday when they first received them at the farm. Everyone is so thankful for the continued orders of current members and for how much the co-op has grown over the last few months.

There will be some shortages as the weeks go by... If only we knew about the shutdown happening last winter! Soon, the first chicks will be put on pasture, and in about five weeks there should be fresh chicken and all of the poultry products will be available again.

Have you tried the sloppy joe yet? If not, Annie recommends putting it on a slice of bread and warming it up in the oven with a slice of cheese. Yum! Head on over to the store and pick up a quart of sloppy joe, some cheddar cheese, and a loaf of sourdough bread. You can't go wrong with all of that good eatin'!

On Special This Week

Loose sausage! Only $5.50/pound this week. Stock up while supplies last.

ORDERING REMINDERS - Until further notice there is a 2 dozen limit on eggs per order and whole chickens are limited to ONE per order.

So Long Summer

September... The time of year when the nights begin to get cooler and the breezes lighter. Insects seem less pesky and the world a bit quieter. But work on the farm keeps going and it has been quite a blessing to have so much to do and provide for the Green Hills Farm loyal customers.

Brilliant Splendor of Days on the Farm

Love is in the air... and so is rain! Barbie shares with us the love and grace that the Lord has blessed upon the Esh's. The abundant rains over the past weeks have brought forth life, providing food and nourishment for the animals as they prepare for winter storage.
